The ability to live comfortably offgrid for extended periods of time has been a cornerstone of MinixRV overland vehicles. Quiet, efficient, non-polluting solar power, a large battery bank, highly efficient appliances and lighting, and huge fuel and fresh water capacities will sustain you indefinitely, all offgrid with no noisy generator or dangerous propane.
Squeaky Clean Adventures
A wet bath shower unit and cassette toilet ensure your comfort during the expedition. The Minix RV expedition truck features a heated auxiliary outdoor washdown, 40 gallon fresh water tank and 40 gallon gray water tank. The water heater keeps your water warm when it gets chilly at night and an exterior access cassette toilet allows for easy cleaning of your waste. An exterior gray water release valve releases gray water into a designated containment area when needed.
Heating, Air Conditioning, and Ventilation
The Minix RV is a true four season expedition vehicle. Our diesel air heater keeps you warm and toasty even in subzero temperatures, while our highly efficient air conditioning system keeps you cool on hot summer days, without the need for a noisy generator. Our spacious cabin feels bright and airy with large, fully opening windows with bug screens and shades, dual cabin fans and a huge roof hatch over the bunk for plenty of air flow (and star gazing).
Advanced Electrical System for Ultimate Comfort
The expedition truck's advanced electrical system, controlled by a digital panel, features two 310 AH LifePO4 lithium batteries, a 3000-watt inverter, DC/DC alternator charging, and a 600-watt solar panel for sustainable energy. Built with high-grade components like UL-rated copper wiring, waterproof breakers, and premium alloy fuses, the system ensures durability and safety. The power distribution center manages multiple 120V outlets and USB ports. Additional amenities include a Fan and a diesel heater for optimal comfort.
